This award is named after Dr. Bob Hanson of Tennessee. Dr. Hanson was the longeststanding Competition Regulations Committee (CRC) chair in TSA history. He continues to provide leadership at the national level. The award is given to a TSA student member based on valued service in TSA and within his or her community. Both past and current contributions are considered. The recipient is recognized at the national TSA conference.
Current TSA student members who meet these criteria:
1) Are members in good standing with TSA for a minimum of one school year
2) Have actively participated in TSA at the local, state, and/or national level
3) Have achieved prominence and distinction in TSA and within his or her community
Fellow TSA student members; teachers (advisors); or administrators of technology education/STEM programs.
An individual may also nominate him/herself.
