Name: Max Ford
Office: Vice President
Missouri TSA Chapter: North Kansas City High School
I have competed in events since my 6th grade year and it has ranged from Promotional Marketing, Children Stories, Future Tech Teacher and many more but my all time favorite is Biotechnology.
Why did you join TSA?
I originally joined TSA because I grew up watching my brother go through the organization. Seeing him have a lot of fun and learn new skills, I knew that I had to be a part of it as well. I first joined as soon as I was in sixth grade and have continued since then. TSA has provided me with so many great memories and new skills that I can take with me as I graduate and move onto my career.
What are your future plans?
In the future I would like to attend and go into science education. It is my goal to teach middle school science courses and help continue providing for others.
What is something unique about you?
Outside of TSA I am involved in robotics and I’m currently with the orchestra leadership team for my school.
Advice to any TSA Member:
I encourage every member to get involved and be open with yourself. Talk to new people, try new things, take risks. While you are in school, you have more freedom to branch out and go through more opportunities. This will allow you to gain more memories and skills to take with you once you leave your schooling years.
